Called To Rescue Announces A Formal Partnership With Union Gospel Mission To Identify And Search For Children Being Trafficked
Called To Rescue, a non-profit that rescues children from sex trafficking and abuse, announced today that they have formed a partnership with Union Gospel Mission to build a communication pathway and collaborate services by seeking out trafficked or missing children in the Greater Portland area.
Called To Rescue, a non-profit organization, has been operating in the U.S., Phillipines, and Guatamala since 1992. The Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Cyndi Romine continues to teach, train, and develop task force teams, educate children of all ages in the public and private school system, and work closely with Homeland Security, Local and State Police agencies, as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigations to find missing and exploited children.
Union Gospel Mission is a Christian ministry dedicated to serving the homeless, poor, and addicted in the community. By meeting physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs, their Mission is changing lives. Union Gospel Mission’s work with transient populations puts the Mission in a unique position to reach out to this population to put the word out about trafficked children.
